The breakfast here was really good - better than what you'd usually expect. I liked having a roll and sausages to start the day. And the food at the restaurant wasn't bad either. 🥐 Our room was tidy and cozy, with coffee available. It even had a balcony, which was a nice touch.

Loved the hotel, but was not happy that they charged the amount to my credit card before I got there when originally it had said that this would not happen.

The hotel is very affordable. It is located in the charming 06. Mariahilf district. There are many classic cafes nearby. It is within an easy walk to tourist attractions such as the Opera, Naschmarkt, and Secession house.

Excellent hotel and beautiful, clean and spacious room. Great stuff. Safe and convenient garage was downstairs. Breakfast was very good.

The Mercure Secession is great. I chose it for the location, which is right beside everything you want to see in Vienna. Other hotels/hostels/pensions in Vienna cost the same as Secession, there is no way any of them are as luxurious. I have stayed in few hotels better than Secession. I have not even the slightest complaint about them.

Hotel was very nice and located within walking distance to St Stephens Cathedral and shopping in that area. Also within one block of the famous Nachmarkt market which is a must see when in Vienna. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was clean and easy to find.
Not really a complaint, but room could have used an ironing board and iron. Also, bathroom was very nice and roomy but getting in shower/tub required a large step in/out and could be a challenge for older or people with limited movement. Not sure if all rooms have this or not.

Positioned close enough to the center - 10 minutes walking. The room is nice and clean.
It was very cold in the room when we checked in. The bathroom has no fan, so when you take a shower the steam is gathering realy badly. The window was very big so I counld open it because it was very cold outside. The minibar was almost empty (just water, 2 beers, one juice, a wafer and some peanuts)
